From a Fleisher's Knitting and Crochet Manual from 1918 comes this lovely sweater pattern, just in time for summer! Ha ha.
But it really is a great pattern, easy and quickly knit in any worsted weight wool. I knit this in about one week, but I did abandon all other projects during that time and I was at my mom's house. She has cable and I don't. When I get access to it I can't stop. I used, big surprise, Cascade 220. The pattern is $6.00, it uses 6-10 skeins of Cascade 220 for finished bust sizes of 40-56". I think this is a great and flattering sweater for all shapes and sizes. For more pictures look at the post entitled "a new sweater." Enjoy!

Great sweater!
I'm so glad you will be selling this one, I really like it!
Hi Courtney-is there anyway to contact you by email-I am not a weirdo-well thats debatable-but I wanted to ask your permission for something-mine is

this looks awesome. i love old patterns & updating them, but not to the point of taking away from the original. btw this is jen, the girl that comes in & buys lace like crazy (think peacock feathers). i finally stopped lurking & being shy.
this is awesome though. i do need to knit more sweaters. wearing only stockinette squares/circles/triangles with strategically placed holes don't necessarily keep your torso warm during a winter in philly. unless it's rowan big wool.
where do you get the pattern?
